Something has you feeling stuck.

Calm, confidential therapy- offered by phone or video.

Let’s gently untangle what’s holding you back.

Does it feel like you’re trapped in survival mode with no way out? Are you always on edge, waiting for the next shoe to drop? You’re not broken- your nervous system has been doing its best to protect you.

When stress shapes our lives, the nervous system learns to protect us—sometimes through vigilance, sometimes through collapse, sometimes through feeling overwhelmed. These patterns aren’t failures; they’re the body’s way of keeping you alive. But protection isn’t the same as feeling free.

Through a gentle, Polyvagal-informed and IFS-informed approach, we work with the places in you that have learned to brace, shut down, or carry more than they were meant to. Whether we meet by phone or video, we move at a pace that supports your nervous system. Together, we help your system shift from guarding to grounding, from fear to safety, from enduring to living.

As your nervous system finds more regulation and ease, you can begin to feel a deeper sense of steadiness and connection within yourself and in your life.

With support, you can:

  • Regulate your nervous system and feel more settled in daily life

  • Move from survival mode into a felt sense of safety and connection

  • Respond to your body’s cues with compassion rather than fear

  • Soften patterns of hypervigilance, anxiety, and shutdown

  • Build resilience so you can meet life with greater clarity and ease

Hi, I’m candice.

I’m here to help you find the healing and peace you’ve been searching for.

I help people find the healing and steadiness they’ve been searching for.

My background is rooted in trauma-informed care and a deep understanding of the nervous system. I specialize in supporting people who are navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, and major life transitions. My work is grounded in Polyvagal Theory and informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), helping you shift from states of overwhelm and fear into experiences of safety, connection, and inner clarity.

Sessions are offered by phone or video, allowing us to work in a way that best supports your nervous system. For some, being seen feels grounding; for others, audio-only sessions offer greater ease, focus, and a sense of safety. We move at a pace that respects where you are, creating space for healing without pressure or performance.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology and am licensed in the state of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I’ve trained extensively in approaches that honor the body’s role in healing and help you develop compassionate awareness of your inner system. My intention is to help you cultivate resilience, deepen your self-connection, and access a sense of peace that feels steady and real.

You don’t have to navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, or overwhelm alone. Healing is possible, and you deserve support that meets you with warmth, respect, and understanding. My goal is to walk alongside you as you build a more grounded, connected, and empowered life.

Specializing in helping women and men heal and rediscover their most authentic selves through supportive, personalized therapy.

  • Trauma can leave deep imprints on your body, mind, and sense of self. Whether it comes from childhood, recent experiences, or ongoing stress, it can shape how you feel, react, and move through the world. I approach trauma recovery through a Polyvagal and IFS-informed lens, recognizing that trauma affects not just your thoughts but also your nervous system and the inner parts that learned to protect you.

In therapy, we’ll explore how trauma has impacted your body and mind—how your nervous system responds, how different parts of you formed in moments of pain or fear, and how those patterns continue to influence your life. Our work gently supports your system in shifting out of survival responses and into states of greater safety and openness.

Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where your body and inner world can reconnect with a sense of regulation and balance. Through this steady, compassionate process, my goal is to help you access your innate resilience and create room for healing and growth. As this unfolds, many people begin to experience more ease, clarity, and a deeper sense of wholeness as they move forward. Learn more.

  • Anxiety and depression often feel like an unrelenting weight, pulling you away from the present moment and making it harder to feel grounded. These emotions can keep you stuck, whether it’s the constant buzz of worry, overwhelming sadness, or the spiraling of racing thoughts. From a Polyvagal and IFS-informed perspective, I understand that these feelings are connected to your nervous system and inner parts that may be trying to protect you or respond to past wounds.

In therapy, we’ll gently explore how these patterns show up in your body and mind. I’ll guide you in understanding how your nervous system responds to stress and how your inner parts—whether managers, firefighters, or exiles—play a role in these emotional states. Together, we’ll work to create safety and reconnect you to a sense of peace and balance, moving you from survival mode to a more grounded, regulated state.

My goal is to support you in finding your center, so you can feel more at ease and connected to your true self. Learn more.

  • Life transitions—whether they involve changes in relationships, career shifts, major life events, or the loss of a loved one—can bring uncertainty, confusion, and sometimes a sense of losing touch with who you are. Grief, in all its forms, can feel overwhelming and leave you unsure of the path ahead. Whether you’re navigating loss, adjusting to a new chapter, or exploring personal growth, I’m here to support you through these changes.

Through a Polyvagal and IFS-informed approach, we’ll explore how these transitions affect your body, mind, and inner parts. Together, we’ll work to understand how your nervous system responds to the stress of change, and how different parts of you might be holding onto grief, fear, or resistance. I’ll guide you with tools and strategies to build resilience, reconnect with your body’s natural rhythms, and restore balance.

My goal is to help you find clarity and peace during these challenging times, supporting you in moving forward with greater confidence and alignment to your true self. Healing from loss or navigating transitions is a process, but with compassionate guidance, you’ll begin to feel more grounded, connected, and ready for what comes next.  Learn more.
